Below are some comments I have reposted from Ghanaweb.com, where this article was also posted.
I have not altered the comments in anyway.
It is time we start talking about our future. Kudos to Krakye Arthur for trying to divert our attention to our common future. We, as a nation, need to design and discuss our alternative futures. We focus too much on our past. Let's start talking about our near-term future, mid-term future, and long-term future. Future-focused role images will help us become better citizens and a nation with a more sustainable agenda.
A black American friend made this comment upon arriving in Ghana.
That comment holds true to the fact that the way we build our country tells a lot about the creativity and the craftsmanship of our engineers and technicians.
Ghana at 100...I guess we'll have 35-38 Million inhabitants,STILL BIG YAWNING OPEN Gutters, Not enough water available, STILL ERRATIC Electricity supply,MORE IMPORTATION of what we DONOT GROW to eat, and thenTHE MILITARY TAKES OVER AGAIN !!!!
IF till then we have a "STRONG DEMOCRATIC " Leader, then military will NOT come back.!!
